Certified quality

Treating our student interns fairly has always been a given for us. Our certification as a Fair Company in April 2018 now officially confirms this. What implications does this have for you as an intern? It means that instead of making coffee and manning the copying machine, you will gain an authentic insight into the day-to-day operations in your respective department – your own tasks with clear objectives included. Because as a fully-fledged member of our team, you assume responsibility from the get-go. You will also be assigned a dedicated contact person who is ready to advise and support you at all times – from HR as well as from your specialist department. We reward your commitment with an attractive remuneration based on the maximum education advancement grant (BAföG) rate. Where necessary, we can also provide a rent subsidy on top. However, for us, fairness also means acting honestly and transparently. Should we be unable to offer you a meaningful internship position, we communicate this openly – rather than trying to squeeze you in somewhere, which won’t take you or us forward. Speaking of going forward: to ensure we are able to maintain and build on our high standards, we regularly undergo checks in the form of surveys conducted by the Fair Company Initiative. The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 92.9% of the students surveyed rated their internship at the Gauselmann Group and the tasks they were entrusted with as beneficial for advancing their career.
  • 100% would recommend an internship at the Gauselmann Group.
  • 92.9% of the students received regular, structured feedback about their work.
